If you want to implement a form using Contact Form 7 where users will select Tutor name or Department name and the mail will be delivered to that specific tutor or department then this tutorial is for you.

To solve the issue, I am sharing you what to do in the steps below
Step 1:
Create a drop down based on Tutor name, person name or Department name using the following tag of Contact form 7
*** You need to change the mail address and the position name I used based on your requirement.
[select your-recipient "CEO|ceo@yourcompany.com" "Sales|sales@yourcompany.com" "Support|support@yourcompany.com" "technical|technical@yourcompany.com" ]
Here is the screenshot for Step 1

Step 2:
Go to “Mail” Tab in your form and put the tag ( in my case it is [your -recipent]) inside the To field ( check screenshot)
** Please don’t get confused seeing the Red Bordered warning, I found it works fine 🙂

Work Done
you can check by using and submitting the form.

Thanks for this it help me quote a bit, I have a automated confirmation message with tags such as Hi [your-name], your message was well received by [your-recipient] …..
Mi issue I would like the tag to show on the recipient as the label of the drop down and not the email it was assigned too, is this possible ?
